Feeling Meh? Try These 10 Affirmations to Reclaim Your Joy in Christ
Share
Let's catch up with my morning Christian girl routine! I wake up at about 7:00 am (okay, okay, 7:30 am-lol) and begin my day with a heart full of thanks for yet another chance to live and love. I say a prayer, read a Bible verse, and as I am a total self-proclaimed skincare girly, I must add that my skincare routine is just non-negotiable! But then the magic happens: before getting to work, I take a time out and just say some affirmations over my day. It's just a practice that's enabling me to keep myself really encouraged, focus my mind on Jesus Christ, and remind me that God got me. Even on days when "meh" is all by itself in the dictionary under blah, I've found that my affirmations pretty much help me reset and realign my thoughts with what God promised.
Studies have shown that positive affirmations can have a large impact on our mindset. Research from the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine asserts that practicing affirmations lowers stress, fosters resilience, and renders most elements positive thought. In addition to this, it rewires your brain to think more about uplifting empowering things. So, whether you are traversing financial difficulties, career challenges, or even relationship struggles, here are Christian affirmations to give you that comfort and strength when you need them most.
